The biggest challenge before joining the program is having a very limited understanding of nutrition/protein/inflammatory foods and impact on overall health. Coaching has helped me build a core foundation and understanding of the impacts and cumulative positive effects of prioritizing nutrition, sleep, and the right kinds of exercise for my body. Before staring to work with Kaitlyn, my biggest challenge was my mindset. I constantly prioritized others over myself, pushing to the point of burnout. I couldn’t find the time to reset or focus on my own health, and it left me physically and mentally drained.

When I started working with Kaitlyn, I had been on my fitness journey for about a year. While I had made progress there were definitely gaps that I needed assistance with, particularly around managing stress, prioritizing my needs, and knowing when to change up my macros. Kaitlyn has helped me immensely with mindset changes and being ok with increasing calories for muscle gain. She reminds me that it’s ok to slow down/rest when my body says to and it’s good to push myself outside of my comfort zone.
She has been in my corner for my first CrossFit competition, family struggles, and a ton of ups and downs in between. My biggest challenge before coming to the program was giving myself grace, reminding myself of what I had been through and feeling defeated.
Having Kaitlyn as my coach has helped me with my mindset, having her there on my bad days and being able to vent is huge.
